Terms of Use
These terms govern beforethestormkit.com, app.beforethestormkit.com, the free checklist, and ClaimReady Vault. The operator is Bowman Web Services LLC. By using the sites or paying for the vault, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Disclaimer, and the Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the product and do not pay.
These pages describe how we sell a small software tool. They are not a substitute for advice from your own lawyer.
What you are buying
ClaimReady Vault is a browser tool for photographing rooms, keeping an inventory, logging claim-related notes, and exporting a CSV. The current offer is a one-time $39 USD payment for 12 months of paid access on the device that completes checkout, billed through Square to Bowman Web Services LLC.
You are not buying insurance, a filed claim, public-adjuster services, legal advice, emergency management, or a guaranteed payout. You are not hiring us to talk to your carrier.
The free checklist and any optional $12 printable binder (if still offered on Payhip) are separate from vault access.
Preview access
You may preview the vault without a card. Preview features can lock after the stated trial window. CSV export of items you entered is intended to remain available so you keep your list. Paid access is what Square checkout unlocks.
How access works today
The vault is unlocked in the browser on that device (localStorage). There is no account login and no cloud backup of your photos or inventory. If you clear site data, switch phones, or use a private window without the unlock, paid access and your list will not follow you automatically. Export the CSV and keep copies of important photos. Losing browser data is not a failure of the $39 product if the app was available and export worked.
The $39 charge is a one-time season payment. We do not currently auto-renew. After 12 months, paid features may lock until you buy again.
License
We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use ClaimReady Vault for your own household documentation during the paid or preview period. You do not buy the source code or our trademarks. You keep the content you enter (photos, lists, notes). You are responsible for that content being accurate and lawful.
Acceptable use
Use the tool to document property you are allowed to document. Do not use it to invent, inflate, or fake an insurance claim. Do not upload content you have no right to store. Do not attack, scrape in an abusive way, or try to break the payment or unlock system. We may refuse or revoke access if we reasonably believe the product is being abused.
Payments
Checkout is processed by Square. Their terms and privacy policy apply to the payment step. The descriptor on your statement should relate to Bowman Web Services LLC / ClaimReady Vault. Price is $39 unless we post a different offer before you pay.
No professional services
Nothing on the sites is insurance, legal, tax, construction, or emergency advice. Official evacuation and weather orders always control. Coverage questions belong with your licensed Florida agent, your carrier, a licensed public adjuster, or an attorney — not with this software.
Software quality
The vault is provided “as is.” Features such as item suggestions may be incomplete or simulated. We do not promise uninterrupted uptime, that every browser and phone will behave the same, or that an insurer will accept your CSV. You should keep your own backups.
To the fullest extent Florida law allows, Bowman Web Services LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost data, denied claims, or indirect damages arising from use of the sites or vault. Our total liability for a paid purchase is limited to the amount you paid us for that purchase in the prior 12 months. Some limits do not apply where the law forbids them.
Refunds
Refunds follow the Refund Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new date on this page. Material changes apply going forward. If you paid under older terms, those terms still describe that purchase unless the law requires otherwise.
Florida law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Volusia County, Florida, or the federal courts that cover that county, are the venue for disputes that cannot be resolved by email, except where a law requires a different forum.
